Decursing

#showtooltip Remove Lesser Curse
/cast [target=mouseover,exists] Remove Lesser Curse;
/cast [target=player] Remove Lesser Curse

This macro allows you to cast Remove Lesser Curse on a friendly target. If nobody is targeted, it will cast the spell on mouseover (note that the target will always be given priority over the mouseover).

Highest Rank Buff

/script a="Arcane Intellect" b={1,4,18,32,47} c="target" d="(Rank " e=CastSpellByName if (UnitLevel(c) ~= nil and UnitIsFriend("player",c)) then for i=5,1,-1 do if (UnitLevel(c) >= b*)* then e(a..d..i..")") return end end else e(a,1) end

This macro allows you to cast the maximum rank of Arcane Intellect available to the targets level.

Highest Water/Food Conjuration

#showtooltip Conjure Water
/cast Conjure Water

This macro allows you to always cast the highest possible water to avoid replacing it in your actionbar at each new rank learned.

If you want to always cast the highest possible food, replace Conjure Water with Conjure Food.

Instant Blizzard

#showtooltip Blizzard
/cast [@cursor] Blizzard

This macro allows you to cast Blizzard at the exact location of your mouse cursor without having to left-click your target at the ground.

Mob Tagging Macro

/cleartarget
/target Hogger
/stopmacro [noexists][dead]
/tm 8
/cast Fire Blast(Rank 1)

This macro allows you to scan a NPC or a player, mark it with the Skull symbol and cast Fire Blast on him to tag it as fast as possible.

Here, Hogger has been specified as example, but make sure to change this name with the character you are looking for.

PoM-Pyro

#showtooltip Pyroblast
/cast Arcane Power
/cast Presence of Mind
/cast Pyroblast

This macro allows you to cast Arcane Power, then Presence of Mind and finally Pyroblast.

The goal is to cast an instant Pyroblast that deals 30% more damage than a normal one (especially devastating in PvP). This macro is associed with the build known as "three-minute mage". Note that Talisman of Ephemeral Power or Zandalarian Hero Charm trinkets that temporarily increases damage are a good synergy of this technique.

Quick Ice Block

#showtooltip Ice Block
/stopcasting
/cancelaura Ice Block
/cast Ice Block

This macro allows you to cast Ice Block when your assigned key is pressed once and to remove you from your Ice Block when your key is pressed a second time. This allows you to quickly clear out debuffs for instance, without wasting any time.

Sell Grey

/script p,N,c,n=0 for b=0,4 do for s=1,GetContainerNumSlots(b) do n=GetContainerItemLink(b,s) if n and string.find(n,"9d9d9d") then N={GetItemInfo(n)} c=GetItemCount(n) p=p+(N[11]*c)UseContainerItem(b,s) print(n) end end end print(GetCoinText(p))

This macro allows you to sell all the junk grey items. It will also tells you how much each item sold for and then the total.

Shift Key Downranking

#showtooltip Arcane Explosion
/cast [mod:shift] Arcane Explosion(Rank 1)
/cast [nomod] Arcane Explosion

This macro allows you to cast a lower spell rank by pressing the Shift key in addition of the key where your spell is assigned.

Here, Arcane Explosion has been specified as example (this can be effective in PvP if you want to find a stealthed rogue without emptying your mana bar), but this macro is also useful with spells like Blizzard, Cone of Cold, Fire Blast and Frostbolt.

If you want to assign the Control or the Alt key instead of the Shift key, just replace [mod:shift] with [mod:ctrl] or [mod:alt].

Stop Casting

#showtooltip Blink
/stopcasting
/cast !Blink

This macro allows you to instantly cancel the spell that you were casting to cast the spell specified in the macro.

Here, Blink has been specified as example, but this macro is also useful with spells like Cold Snap and Ice Block.

#showtooltip Counterspell
/stopcasting
/cast [target=mouseover,harm,nodead] !Counterspell; !Counterspell

This variant of the first macro allows you to instantly cancel the spell that you were casting to cast the spell specified in the macro too, but if nobody is targeted, it will cast the spell on mouseover (note that the target will always be given priority over the mouseover).

Here, Counterspell has been specified as example, but this macro is also useful with spells like Polymorph and Shoot.
